Marcus Kaliner, co-founder of ZIMMERMANN KALINER, was born in 1969 in Neustadt (Holstein). He started his law studies in Hamburg. The subsequent legal clerkship later took him to Berlin and New Orleans in the USA. With the passing of the second state law exam in 2001 he acquired the admission as a lawyer.

From 2001 to 2003 Marcus worked for the law firm Travers Smith in London and for the now listed MAGIX AG. Already at the renowned London law firm, his focus on corporate law began. As a lawyer, he worked primarily in copyright and trademark law, areas of law that are still looked after by the law firm.

In 2005, together with his partner Dirk Zimmermann, he founded the law firm ZIMMERMANN KALINER. The core tasks of Marcus include all issues in the area of ​​corporate law such as the law of partnerships or corporate transactions and the GmbH-law. His range of advice also includes advising on the financing of companies, employee participation, restructuring and the labor law of the executive bodies. He places particular emphasis on advising and representing start-up companies, whom he paves the way to success through his legal support.

Due to the successful participation in the lawyer course “Commercial and Corporate Law” in the years 2012/2013 Marcus was able to deepen his knowledge in his field of specialization.

Very good foreign language skills in English and Spanish complete the consulting skills of Marcus.
